Ted & Korina Jingle

The two of the most respective, trusted and successful personalities that teams-up in television and radio. They are Ted Failon and Korina Sanchez, can be seen on ABS-CBN and can be heard through DZMM as a powerful duo as their program entitled Tambalang Failon & Sanchez. Who always give viewers and listeners the fast and reliable news, their insights that lightens up people to the news and and their hammering call ups to the public officials that are lazy and corrupt to their positions.

Tambalang Failon & Sanches adopts a visayan song wherein they also sing for it. It was featured in ABS-CBN TV Patrol last September 26, 2008 reported by joker and funny reporter Marc Logan.

When the time the BAMBOO band released their first album it was so new to me what band they are. I am an avid fan of pinoy rock songs most epecially songs from Rivermaya, Parokya ni Edgar, Intovoyz and other original rock bands here in Philippines. Thus, I tried to buy thier album in a bystand area in our place and hurriedly go home in order for me to hear their debut album. I spend almost an hour just to finish the whole album and I am really so amazed to hear their head banging type of genre. I really appreciated their music and style due to the energy of their song especially their 1st album single “Noypi”. Their music doesn’t catch me alone but the whole country that they got various awards from different events and gatherings.

Albums

* As The Music Plays (2004)
* Light Peace Love (2005)
* We Stand Alone Together (2007)
* Tomorrow Becomes Yesterday (2008)

in year 2005, Bamboo released their second album entitled to Light Peace Love. The hit single on it that also attained awards was the song “Hallelujah”.

Even the band skip for one year in releasing their third album entitled We Stand Alone Together in year 2007. Indeed they still catch again the people of their music. Giving some sort of new things in their 2 CD compilation of mostly revived songs like Buklod folk classic song “Tatsulok” , “Probinsyana” from Anak Bayan and international song “50 Ways to Leave Your Lover” by Paul Simon.

This year, to be specific on September 19, 2008, Bamboo will definitely catch and prove their existence to their newest album Entitled “Tomorrow Becomes Yesterday”. The album is consist of 10 tracks with the carrier single “Kailan”. They got the title of the album from the phrase of the fifth track, “Little Child”. Other track songs were currently unknown at the moment. I feel some excitement to the music video of Kailan. Bamboo the best band talaga. Keep up the good music you have and we will be waiting to the release of your newest compilation.

Nursing Education in PH

Hey, what’s your course? Hmmm… Nursing..

Does Nursing Education in the Philippines still in quality and demand? Or so many nursing graduates that don’t have job. Why this is happening?  Thus, the quality of Nursing Education already lacking its K.

This is not to look down upon to the Nursing Society but just presenting what is really happening right now. The following were my observation:

  • Over populated nursing aspirant
  • Many nursing schools
  • Thinking of Nursing as One big solution for poverty
  • Getting nursing course because of the wants of the parents.

Another thing that we produce nurses but in the end they were not here, they instead to work abroad inorder for them to gain dollars.
